A REQUEST FROM LEAD COUNCIL |
The Junior LEAD Council is currently working on a video highlighting the significance of Title IX, which safeguards individuals from sex-based discrimination in education programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance. Title IX explicitly declares that no person in the United States should, on the basis of sex, face exclusion from participation, denial of benefits, or discrimination in any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. Given the profound impact Title IX has had on women in sports, as members of the Gwynedd Mercy community, we find it important to address this subject.
If your daughter is part of any Gwynedd sports team, we kindly request you to share any team photos or videos by submitting them at the link below. Your contributions will be valuable in enhancing our video. Many thanks from Junior LEAD Members Anne Dever, Lilly Morrissey, and Nella Naticchione! |
